Chisora talks Klitschkos, Haye & Harrison
Current IBF and WBO heavyweight challenger Derrick ‘Del Boy’ Chisora is in no mood to play around when it comes to his December 11th title fight with Wladimir Klitschko.
Chisora has been known to be quite jovial in the past from nibbling opponent’s ears to kissing them but he means business now the biggest fight of his brief career is ahead of him.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Chisora stated he grabbed the chance with both arms and both legs when it presented itself and he plans on taking full advantage.
“It is a big step up but it’s only the name everybody’s afraid of. Say Klitschko and everybody’s like ‘wow, oh my god, oh my god’ – the name hits you straight away. But if you think about it the guy is beatable and I am going to beat him.”
With both David Haye and Audley Harrison making waves at heavyweight, you would be forgiven for thinking they are also in Chisora’s sights but the Zimbabwe born north Londoner has a clause in his contract that states he will have to face Wladimir’s brother Vitali should he triumph, something he is looking forward to as Vitali is in possession of something he wants:
“I don’t really care about those other two guys, David Haye and his friend Audley Harrison, they have got nothing I want to be honest; the belt he (Haye) has got is one of the lowest so I don’t really care about it. The WBC one is the one I want.”
Fancy a pint?
