Mayweather/Pacquiao have agreed terms according to Arum
Top Rank head honcho Bob Arum has claimed terms have been agreed between the Mayweather/Pacquiao camps for a November super fight.
Arum told SportsIllustrated.com that Mayweather’s side had agreed terms and was just waiting for them to accept (sign) yet he would not be hanging around waiting for Mayweather, setting a July 15th deadline for the whole thing to be wrapped up otherwise he would pursue alternative fights for Pacquiao namely a rematch with WBA junior middleweight champion Miguel Cotto or a bout with former welterweight star Antonio Margarito.
“This really depends, as I see it, on whether Mayweather wants to fight. By mid July, he’s either in or out. We’re not going to wait forever. We’re going to have a fight on November 13 and we would love it to be Mayweather. Nobody is under any obligation to fight this year. He [Mayweather] may need more time. When he is ready, we are prepared to do the fight.”
