Mum is the word as Pacquiao is ready to face Mayweather

Having won a seat in Philippine parliament, Manny Pacquiao is ready to face Floyd Mayweather.

Speaking in an interview Pacquiao said,

“Many fans really want me to fight Floyd Mayweather so I asked my mama if we can give them one more fight, she said okay, we spoke yesterday and she said just one last fight, Mayweather.”

Initial talks for a fight on March 13th fell through after Pacquiao refused to submit to Olympic style testing in the run up to the fight and although Floyd is still insisting that both undergo the tests it appears that Pacquiao may be open to them in order to see a fight made despite making no mention of the situation in the television interview.

After Floyd’s on sided beat down of Shane Mosley, Bob Arum has earmarked a November 13th date at either the MGM Grand in Las Vegas or the Dallas Cowboy stadium for a potential fight.
