Toney calls Hopkins a ‘cross dresser’

James Toney has never been the shy and retiring type and some of his quotes/interviews are legendary and despite signing with the UFC, it has not blunted his sharp wit.

James Toney has been looking for a fight with Hopkins for a while with the heavyweight offering to drop down to cruiserweight in order to make the fight happen and the latest his latest attempt to goad Hopkins into a fight is undeniably funny.

Speaking to Percy Crawford of FightHype, James Toney said,

“Come on, dog! Bute would knock Bernard Hopkins out. I have been telling y’all for years Hopkins is a fraud. He went from calling out David Haye, a heavyweight, to calling out Bute, who is a super middleweight. He saw something in Bute and wanted that fight. After last night, he may be asking for a Pavlik rematch. He’s not going to want anything to do with Bute. Bernard Hopkins is a cross dresser.”
