Malignaggi points finger at Pacquiao

Paulie Malignaggi has again alluded to Manny Pacquiao using PEDs ahead of his fight with Pacquiao’s stablemate Amir Khan.

Malignaggi has made the claims before but speaking to Doghouseboxing.com, the former IBF junior welterweight champion said,

“With Pacquiao, I have my reasons why I think he’s on to something. I know him and I’ve seen him over time. I’m not a complete idiot that just accuses people of something without having my reasons to believe what it is I’m saying.

All the lean muscle he’s put on in such a short amount of time, the size of his head. And how does a guy just jump from featherweight and just walking through welterweight killer like [Miguel] Cotto? It just doesn’t make any sense,”

Suspicion of Pacquiao using PEDs rose when Floyd Mayweather requested Olympic style drug testing for their proposed March superfight. Pacquiao declined and instead fought Joshua Clottey whilst Mayweather will face Shane Mosley in May and both will be subjected to drug testing.

Malignaggi takes on Amir Khan on May 15th for Khan’s WBA junior welterweight title.
