Hatton set to reject Morales fight

Still unsure about his future, former junior welterweight champion of the world Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton is set to reject the opportunity to face Mexican legend Erik Morales in July.

Hatton who has not fought since being knocked out cold against Manny Pacquiao last May has been flip flopping in regards to a return to the ring or retirement but it seems he is certain to turn this down having spoke to Golden Boy Promotions deal maker Robert Diaz last Saturday at the David Haye/John Ruiz heavyweight title fight.

The fight would have been in the under card of the July 10th Juan Manuel Marquez/Juan Diaz light weight title fight and with Marquez being touted as a potential opponent for Hatton, it could have served as a warm up to a future bout.
