No charges against Valero in wife assault case

Following reports that Edwin Valero was arrested for the assault of his wife last week, Jhonny Gonzalez of BoxingScene.Com is reporting that no charges will be brought against the 2 weight world champion.

Valero’s wife Jennifer Carolina has refused to press charges against her husband, instead claiming that she sustained her injuries from falling down the stairs and Valero’s mother Eloíza Vivas is repeating the same story.

Valero has been in trouble with the law before including an altercation with his mother.
