Roach: ‘We would consider Mosley fight’

After what seemed like begging from Mosley, Freddie Roach has claimed Manny Pacquiao would consider a fight with Shane Mosley fight – but only if he gets past Floyd Mayweather on May 1st though.

Mosley had hounded team Pacquiao for a fight even claiming he was willing to drop down to 140 pounds, the junior welterweight limit, to get it but Pacquiao was not interested and instead opted to face then WBO welterweight champion Miguel Cotto.

But now when asked about facing Mosley, Roach has changed his tune. Although picking Mayweather to outbox Mosley, he claims that if Mosley can pull off the upset then he would match Pacquiao with the 38 year old,

“I think Mayweather will win a decision. Mosley has a good shot to beat him, and if Shane wins the fight, we’ll fight him. Manny will fight anyone. I’ve always liked Shane and I think it would be a good fight,”
